Atelier Art et Tête - Workshop Art and Head

Sunday April 2nd you can look forward to the third workshop dedicated to the observation of the three different parts of ourselves: body, heart and head.
This time the protagonist will be the head, where  the power of imagination, creativity and peace is experienced
Through observation and contact with this part you will be able to express yourself freely and translate your mental activity into creative work.
Acrylic paint, chalk and oil pastels will be the artistic materials at your disposal.
Everyone will be free to express themselves according to their intuitions, in a friendly atmosphere where the aim is not to make "good or beautiful" but to give shape to your creative universe.
This is a group workshops, meant for adults, materials provided.

Dimanche 2 avril aura lieu le troisième atelier dédié à l'observation des trois différents parties des nous même: corps, cœur et tête.
Cette fois la protagoniste sera la tête, lieu où expérimenter le pouvoir de l'imagination, de la créativité et de la paix.
A travers l'observation et le contact avec cette partie vous pourrez vous exprimer en toute liberté et traduire votre activité mentale en travail créatif.
Peinture acrylique, craie et pastels à huile seront les matériels artistiques à votre disposition.
Chacun sera libre de s'exprimer suivant ses intuitions, dans une ambiance bienveillante où le but n'est pas de faire « bien ou beau » mais de donner une forme a son univers créatif.
Ateliers de groupe, adressés aux adultes, matériel fourni.

FIRST PRINTMAKING COMING FRIDAY AFTERNOON

From Friday March 24, Italian/English artist Tiziana Bendall-Brunello starts a new Hangar Printmaking class!  

On Friday afternoons from 2 - 4pm Tiziana will take you through all kinds of printing techniques.

Life Class of 6 March with Brigitte

 Every other Monday is Model time! and when Brigitte is available, the results are always amazing. She's so inspiring! We started with poses of 1 minute. There are different ways to get something on paper that resembles a person (which by the way is NOT what we are after, it is meant as a warming up!), one of them to make small drawings close to each other. As you can see on these two, by Peter and Cryss, a page like that looks pretty interesting!

After a couple of 2 and 10 minute poses, we're supposed to be sufficiently warmed up to work on a longer pose:

Not bad huh!! If you feel like giving it a try yourself, visit us on a Monday morning. You don't have to bring materials, everything is provided! Fee 18€ including materials and the cost for the model... Doors open 9.30, the model starts at 10am...

'Glaçures  et  Emaux' :  ENGOBES

Monday, 3 April 14.00 - 17.00

We will continue to learn how to make engobes or clay slips. Alone with clay or with colors oxides. And testing some technics : « slip in-clay » or « slip and grafitti »

Firing 960°.

Come with some smalls pieces, «greenware« = unfired ware that is still in maleleable state =leatherhard (which you can do before with Tracy, slab–technic or modeling ; small vase , plate, cup) , which you keep inside of plastic bag, that it’s stay « leather-hard , but not too soft

Price : 25 €, which include : teaching, use of tools, kiln firing , and materials for engobes and slips.

Minimum 6 pers.

PS. Don’t forget your mask

Nous continuerons d’apprendre comment préparer les engobes .Seuls ou avec différents argiles ou avec les oxydes.. Et nous testons les techniques de pose : « engobe sous l’argile » et « engobe et grafitti ». Cuisson toujours 960°

Venez avec les petites pièces fini, mais « crus « = qu ‘ils n’ont pas encore eu leur première cuisson (vous pouvez les préparer avec Tracy avec la technique de plaque ou en modelage ; assiette, plat, tasse, bol etc ) et bien les emballer dans un sac en plastique (= congélateur), qu’ils restent consistant « cuir «, mais pas mou .

Prix : 25 €, comprenant l’enseignement, l’utilisation des outils, cuisson au four et les différents engobes.

Minimum 6 pers.
