Aquarelle Watercolours - Tuesdays from 2 - 4.30 with Marina Kulik

Agnès created a wonderful mimosa-impression, in a very experimental way

Spring is here - smell the Mimosa

There's always something special happening with the Aquarellistas of the Hangar. Last week we were celebrating spring with a lovely bottle of champagne, brought by Örjan! We're still not sure if that was the reason behind the excellent work that was done - but excellent it was! We worked on all kinds of projects, but everyone gave 'Mimosa' at least one try... and that's what we're showing here today...
Look for yourself how great some of this stuff is...

...a sea of Mimosa by Edith...
...and her second version, with the accent on the fluffyness...
A daring version by Liz. Painted from nature, so lively! wel done!!
Above and below, two versions by Anna-Karin, also from nature, very spontaneous and 'springy'...

Orjan brought a big bunch of mimosa from his garden and used it to create this expressionist version. The light and character are so well done. Good work!
Constanza created a minimalistic version and again it really worked out for her! The light, the blue sky and the different yellow balls together form such a lovely summery combination!
Sandra also painted from the real flowers - she also worked on other projects and didn't finish this one. She was in doubt about the result, I think it is lovely and lively and definitely worth finishing!
