Until 30 January, Patience Marriott (artist name DEVAS) and Marina Kulik exhibit in the Mairie of La Roquette.
The expo is 'ENTREE LIBRE' and open every workday between 8am and 4pm!!
The vernissage took place last Thursday evening. It was
excellent and well visited, many authorities of La Roquette and
surrounding communities were there - as well as friends, journalists, architects and
decoration firms. And also a lot of Hangar folks!!
With all who were
present we commemorated and paid our respects in relation with the Charlie Hebdo-killings in Paris which was beautiful. We
had great chats, in French and English and made a lot of new contacts.
Patience's sculptures and my paintings go really well together and we
both received a lot of praise!
Patience shows her sculptures, bronzes and terre cuite, I put up my 'other side' - the latest version of the acrylic 'Fresque' 'Ever Evolving work of art' (now over 6 meters in total and existing of 35 canvases...) Nice Matin has written and will write extensively about the both of us!
