Glazing our objects

And now we add colour. The clay comes out of the kiln - grey, white, brownish red, brown or black. Everything depends on the type of clay and at what temperature it is fired. The finishing can be done in many different ways. Here are some examples of glazing.

Cecilie's bowls. The crackly green was not intended to come out this way - but with the firing process one always gets surprises.
