EXPO25 in Chateauneuf

Saturday 29 October, The Terrasse des Arts in Le Hangar's hometown Chateauneuf, opened its doors for our second 'EXPO25'...
We celebrated the opening with a smashing vernissage, that started at 6pm.
Around 150 people visited that first evening, and enjoyed the beautiful, interesting and original sculptures and paintings, which were - just like in Theoule - put up so beautifully by our volunteering professionals Dirkjan and Helena Goossen.  It is so great to drive to the Hangar and see all 'our' affiches everywhere in the village and along the roads...

Here are some pictures of the artwork - last one is the article in Nice Matin for those who have not seen it yet!

Hangar President Ton van Schijndel and Chateauneuf's mayor Emmanuel Delmotte officially (yet informally) open our exhibition

Board member Sylvie Morlière (L) opens in French and the teachers team (R) applauds

Nelly (Tim)'s huge surrealist oil painting when there are no people in front of it.
Note the beautiful sculptures in the front...

Full house on Saturday night!

Same view after the show...

Great view on the expo from above

Above and below pics of the fantastic paintings of the Hangar members!

Last pic: the sculptures of Devas - well placed and interesting!

The exhibition is on until 7 November (included).
Open every day from 10.30 - 13.00 and 14.30 - 18.00...
