BOTERO - a Hangar day trip!

Here are a couple of photo's (by Anna Vermeulen and Patrick Scetbon) of the visit of the Botero-Picasso Exhibition in Aix-en-Provence on March 9th, 2018

Last Friday, 9 March, the Hangar organized a one-day Excursion to a unique temporary Exhibition in Aix: “Botero - dialogues with Picasso”.

A comfortable bus had been reserved for the day, to take 18 Hangar members and friends from the Hangar to Aix, in a comfortable way. 

 Our teacher PIM accompanied the journey!

The site of the expo was Hotel de Caumont, a beautiful building in the heart of Aix. 

 

On display were 60 Botero works and 20 major Picasso works, from national museums in Paris and Barcelona.

The day was a BIG SUCCESS , and several participants expressed the wish to participate in future cultural trips organized by the Hangar. We'll keep you posted!!
